26th Annual Congress of the EVU

The Dutch EVU-membergroup proudly welcomes you to 26th Annual Congress of the  European Association for Accident Research. The European accident reconstruction community will meet in the historic town of Haarlem, the Netherlands, to discuss practices and new technologies. This years’ major topics are the reconstruction of bicycle accidents, the use of “big data” and accidents involving Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Haarlem is situated at 20 kilometres from Amsterdam and easily attainable from Schiphol Airport. The medieval city hasn’t lost its old historic character: small courtyards, plazas, canals and churches dominate the historic centre. Our venue will be the Philharmonie, a charming music hall located next to the town square and the St. Bavo church, where G.F. Handel and the young Mozart played the famous Mueller organ. Delegates will have plenty opportunities for networking, during the breaks, at the Thurday night welcome reception in the beautiful 15th century City Hall and at Friday night’s Gala Diner in the Philharmonies’ Great Hall. Non-delegate partners will enjoy an interesting tour in and around Amsterdam, visiting highlights such as the Rijksmuseum and the windmills at Zaanse Schans.
